The Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Iowa now consists of six staff physicians at the University of Iowa and one who is at our Quad Cities outreach office.
The division remains very active clinically and are proud of our highly successful IVF Program. We have one of the highest rates of single embryo transfer with IVF in the country and continue to maintain outstanding pregnancy rates while reducing multiple rates leading to safer IVF treatment. In addition to our IVF and regular Reproductive Endocrinology clinics, we have a Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology Clinic, a Fertility Preservation Program, and a Uterine Fibroid Clinic
In addition to our physicians, we are greatly aided by Dana Aybout, ARNP and Elizabeth Graf, PA-C who help with continuity of care within our clinical activities and are very active seeing patients.
Dr. E. Hakan Duran is the leader for educational aspects of the division which are focused on our Fellowship. Currently, three fellows are in training and the division has graduated a total of six fellows from the program in recent years. Particular research interests at this time include fertility preservation, single embryo transfer, and the long-term outcomes from IVF.
